Role overview
Auterion is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end supply chain activities for its products. In this position, you will work closely with internal teams and external service providers while ensuring the supply chain runs efficiently and supports the company’s global value chain goals.
What you will do
- Coordinate and improve supply chain operations across procurement, logistics, warehousing, scheduling, and order handling.
- Spot process blockages, unnecessary steps, and inefficiencies, then help remove them.
- Act as the key operational link between purchasing, production planning, logistics, engineering, and sales to keep information moving and transitions smooth.
- Contribute to the design and rollout of better processes and tools, including ERP setup, reporting improvements, and workflow automation.
- Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and support adoption across teams.
- Build and review reports and share timely, accurate KPI updates such as delivery performance and inventory status.
- Support day-to-day operations as well as cross-functional initiatives and projects.
- Handle the first escalation for supply interruptions, part shortages, and logistics issues, aiming for fast and practical resolutions with limited business disruption.
- Monitor daily supply chain execution so purchase orders, shipments, and inventory transfers are completed on time and in full.
- Maintain backup plans and alternate sourcing options for critical parts and supply categories with higher risk.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and other external logistics partners.
What the role requires
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a supply chain-related position such as logistics, planning, procurement, or customer service.
- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to support operational work when needed.
- Strong adaptability, motivation, and dependability.
- Comfortable working with Google Workspace.
- Prior experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
- Good Excel ability and the capacity to quickly learn digital tools.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written; German is an advantage.
- Collaborative mindset with a structured, proactive working style and strong communication skills.
- EU citizenship is mandatory.
