Role Overview

SRM Digital LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Consultant to support client-facing transformation work in the United States. The role is centered on advising organizations on supply chain strategy, process redesign, technology selection, and implementation execution across manufacturing and related industries.

Core Experience and Domain Background

The ideal candidate should bring deep expertise in at least one major supply chain area such as supply planning, procurement, distribution, inventory, warehousing, logistics, or order management. Experience gained in consulting environments with firms like Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, or similar organizations is preferred.

A strong manufacturing background is expected, with exposure to one or more of the following sectors: automotive, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, or process manufacturing.

Hands-on exposure as a solution architect or functional consultant for leading COTS supply chain platforms is important. Relevant platforms include Kinaxis, Anaplan, o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder, Coupa, Zycus, and Ivalua. In addition, the candidate should have solid functional knowledge of supply chain modules within ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar systems.

The role also calls for experience delivering at least two complete end-to-end COTS implementations, covering solution design, business process mapping, configuration assistance, testing, and user acceptance testing.

Professional supply chain certifications such as APICS CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, or similar credentials are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

This position requires direct interaction with senior business leaders to understand strategic goals, share consulting recommendations, and support executive decision-making.

You will independently lead supply chain consulting assignments, manage relationships across client teams, and ensure engagement delivery across multiple stakeholder levels.

The role includes creating supply chain transformation strategies, defining target operating models, and building practical implementation roadmaps that align with client priorities.

You will carry out process reviews, gather requirements, perform fit-gap assessments, and help align supply chain processes across functions.

A key part of the job is to propose and shape technology-enabled solutions using established COTS platforms and ERP systems.

You will also identify improvement opportunities, build business cases, and help turn consulting discussions into transformation programs.

Support for go-to-market efforts is expected through contributions to solution design, thought leadership, proposal development, and pre-sales activities.

The consultant should help create reusable delivery assets such as frameworks, accelerators, and best-practice materials to improve execution quality and efficiency.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in large-scale digital transformation initiatives across global supply chain organizations will also be required.

Extensive travel may be necessary, with travel requirements reaching up to 75% depending on client needs.
