Role overview
This contract role is for a Supply Chain Business Analyst focused on contract administration. You will support procurement operations across several business functions, with emphasis on analysis, reporting, documentation, and coordination to keep contract records accurate and processes running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with market research, benchmarking, scorecard creation, and reporting for procurement and contract administration activities.
- Review contract pricing, rate changes, and spend information to identify trends and turn them into useful business insights.
- Prepare and update contract files, bid rate sheets, status updates, and planning documents.
- Track spend intelligence platforms and support savings tracking and reporting requirements.
- Open and handle ServiceNow tickets, including new code requests and procurement-related support cases.
- Help resolve issues in procurement systems and processes, and support testing for fixes or system improvements.
- Provide day-to-day transactional procurement support, including updating contract rates when exceptions arise.
- Act as a contact point for contract administration questions and work with internal stakeholders to close out issues.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Materials Management, or IT with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or
- An associate degree with 5 or more years of related experience, or
- A high school diploma/GED with 7 or more years of related experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, plus the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Intermediate-level analytical and reporting capability.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work in a sedentary office setting while following established processes and controls.
