Description de l'emploi
Role overview
Exxelia is looking for a meticulous, self-driven Supply Chain Administrator to help keep manufacturing activities running smoothly and improve supply chain performance. The position centers on procurement execution, supplier coordination, and maintaining accurate system data. The right candidate will pair strong analytical thinking with practical experience in a manufacturing ERP setting and the ability to work effectively with teams across functions.
Core responsibilities
- Find, review, and compare new supplier options to broaden the vendor base, reduce supply risk, and support competitive sourcing.
- Create, release, and oversee RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs for potential suppliers, then examine responses and share clear, data-backed recommendations with management.
- Evaluate supplier strengths, quality performance, financial health, and manufacturing capacity to confirm they meet company expectations.
- Assist with bringing new vendors onboard by helping review contracts, creating supplier records, and setting up initial service level agreements.
- Keep key technical information current in the Sage X3 ERP system, including bills of materials, routings, standard times, and planning parameters, so data remains reliable.
- Enter and maintain all new and revised supplier and part information according to internal standards.
- Handle administrative logistics tied to subcontracting, including freight follow-up, customs paperwork, and tariff compliance support.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional background.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain work within a manufacturing environment, ideally involving multiple component types and complexity.
- Working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems is required; familiarity with Sage X3 is considered an advantage.
- Good grasp of core procurement methods, strategic sourcing practices, and continuous improvement approaches.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Capability to manage several sourcing assignments and operational tasks independently.
