About the Role

Based in Wiri, Auckland and reporting to the Shift Manager, the Supervisor role involves overseeing production crews to ensure safe, high-quality output throughout shift operations. This position is accountable for the daily production performance, guaranteeing that productivity, output, and quality goals are met while upholding strict safety standards. The role supports the afternoon and night shifts, with the PM shift running from 3:30 pm to early morning. Supervisors work in staggered shifts to provide comprehensive operational coverage and effective leadership onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance, address challenges, and maintain smooth operational flow.
  • Manage and document non-conforming products by completing NCRs as necessary.
  • Coach and develop team members, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and other regulations.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and communicate clear expectations to the crew.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to facilitate effective workflow.
  • Identify and escalate any safety, environmental, or operational risks promptly.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience in supervising production or manufacturing teams.
