Role Overview
We are seeking experienced ArborText Stylesheet Developers proficient in PTC Arbortext Editor and Styler to design, create, and support advanced XML publishing solutions. The role focuses on transforming structured XML/SGML content into polished PDF and HTML outputs using sophisticated stylesheet development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain Arbortext Styler stylesheets including XSL-FO and APP for publishing deliverables
- Transform and format XML/SGML content for various publishing outputs
- Customize and improve configurations of Arbortext Editor and Styler tools
- Create print-ready PDF and web-based HTML publishing solutions
- Collaborate closely with content authors, business analysts, and subject matter experts to gather requirements
- Implement layout designs, page formatting, and styling rules
- Troubleshoot and debug stylesheet and formatting issues to ensure quality outputs
- Optimize publishing processes for enhanced performance
- Work with DTD and XSD schema content structures
- Support integration efforts with CMS/PLM systems such as Windchill and Teamcenter
- Engage in testing, validation, and deployment of publishing solutions
Required Skills and Technologies
- Proficiency with PTC Arbortext Editor and Styler
- Expertise in XSL-FO and Advanced Print Publisher (APP)
- Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, and XPath
Eligibility
Applicants must possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
