Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a contractor to lead operational processes, governance, and digital enablement for Strategy & Communications within Medical Affairs. This position focuses on driving adoption of key frameworks such as the Integrated Medical Communication Plan (IMCP), Scientific Communication Platform (SCP), and Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP). Responsibilities include process implementation, coordinating stakeholders, rolling out systems, managing change, establishing governance, training teams, and continuously improving workflows to boost productivity and foster collaboration across functions.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive the execution and support for IMCP, SCP, and IEP processes throughout Global Medical Affairs.
- Coordinate governance efforts, planning cycles, ensure stakeholder alignment, and manage cross-functional workstreams.
- Lead system rollout activities including onboarding, training, and change management strategies.
- Manage digital tools, workflow designs, templates, and work closely with IT and external vendors for system enhancements.
- Track project timelines, identify risks, monitor adoption rates, and implement continuous improvements within processes.
- Provide leadership teams with regular project updates, insights, and governance assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Drug Development, Business, or related field.
- Over six years’ experience in life sciences, medical operations, or project/program management roles.
- Proven expertise in governance frameworks, process optimization, change management, and collaboration across functions.
- Strong project management abilities coupled with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with drug development lifecycles and scientific communication principles.
Preferred Credentials and Experience
- Certifications such as PMP, Agile methodology, or Six Sigma.
- Hands-on experience with IMCP, IEP, Medical Affairs operations, and digital planning technology platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-stakeholder, complex projects and governance processes successfully.
