Role Overview

Chesterfield County is searching for a Strategy and Performance Coordinator specializing in Engagement and Communications to enhance understanding among employees, residents, county departments, and leadership regarding the County's key priorities, services, performance data, and ongoing improvement projects. This position is housed within the Office of Budget and Performance Management and focuses on transforming complex data from budgets, performance metrics, and services into accessible, clear narratives, reports, presentations, and engagement assets.

Responsibilities

This role involves communicating complicated County initiatives and results simply and effectively to a variety of stakeholders, conducting feedback activities, and supporting various reporting functions.

  • Create and implement engagement strategies targeting both employees and the community regarding County priorities, services, and performance improvements.

  • Develop diverse communication products such as reports, presentations, case studies, web content, summary documents, and talking points that elucidate performance and service data.
