Description de l'emploi

Role Overview

This role focuses on building and managing strategic market relationships for Australia-facing outsourcing and technology-enabled service opportunities, with an emphasis on connecting Nigeria-based operators and program participants to buyer demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert Australian BPO buyer needs into clear role profiles, skill requirements, assessment criteria, and job-readiness standards that can guide training and workforce preparation.
  • Partner with research, monitoring and evaluation, policy, and program teams to gather, organize, and document insights from the Australian market.
  • Drive demand-side engagement across Australia to create opportunities for outsourcing and technology-enabled services for Nigeria-based operators and program beneficiaries.
  • Create and implement a market engagement plan for Australia, focused on priority BPO buyers, ecosystem conveners, and strategic partners.
  • Set up and keep updated a structured CRM for Australian stakeholders, including buyers, business networks, diplomatic contacts, and wider ecosystem participants.
  • Oversee the Australian buyer pipeline with defined stages, ownership, next steps, and recorded conversion history.
  • Plan and deliver Australia-focused engagement activities such as buyer roundtables, webinars, briefings, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Coordinate event operations and follow-up with partners and vendors, ensuring all activities are properly documented and outcomes are tracked.
  • Support operator-to-buyer matching processes alongside delivery partners and internal PMO teams.
  • Develop buyer-ready materials such as capability summaries, role profiles, and pilot scoping documents.
  • Work with the Communications team so that Australia-facing messaging, collateral, and announcements align with approvals and brand requirements.
  • Keep complete, audit-ready records of all Australia engagement work, including contact logs, meeting notes, event files, and follow-up actions.
  • Share regular updates with leadership on pipeline progress and market intelligence, including risks, opportunities, and suggested next steps.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, international relations, economics, communications, development studies, or a similar discipline; a master’s degree is considered an advantage.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, employer engagement, or market development, ideally in outsourcing, BPO, technology services, workforce development, or impact sourcing.
  • Proven ability to bring stakeholders together and manage organized engagement or sales pipelines.
  • Strong attention to documentation and reporting, with prior experience preparing briefs, trackers, and stakeholder summaries.
