Strategic Finance Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Corporate Finance Specialists with expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, and valuation to join us as freelance contractors. This remote position requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, ideally between 15 to 20 hours based on your interest and availability. Immediate start with a rapid 24-hour onboarding process is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert practical corporate finance processes into clearly defined tasks suitable for AI systems.
• Assess AI-created financial outputs for accuracy, sound logic, and alignment with business goals.
• Engage in projects involving financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and analyzing performance.
• Detect and document any gaps, exceptional cases, or failures in AI model outputs.
• Maintain thorough records of assumptions, financial reasoning, and decision frameworks.
• Offer structured feedback aimed at enhancing the quality and reliability of AI deliverables.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, investment analysis, or consulting roles.
• Recent hands-on experience specifically with financial modeling, discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial statements, key business drivers, and frameworks informing decision-making.
• Exceptional attention to detail to handle complex financial scenarios confidently.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, remote environment.

Work Style and Expectations

• Primary work mode is asynchronous, offering flexible scheduling options.
• Required meetings are minimal and typically voluntary (such as optional office hours).
• Collaboration and task tracking are managed through Slack and proprietary internal platforms.
• Candidates must complete onboarding and establish communication within 24 hours after receiving an offer.
