Job description
Role Overview
The enterprise renewals landscape is evolving rapidly. Instead of spending time on administrative tasks, leading renewals managers now concentrate on enhancing AI systems that handle those tasks. This role involves overseeing Trilogy’s highest-value enterprise accounts while partnering with Fiona, an AI-driven renewals agent. Fiona manages data analysis, contract workflows, and routine follow-ups, allowing you to concentrate on strategic, high-impact activities such as executive relationship management, sophisticated negotiations, and complex commercial decision-making.
You will play a crucial role in shaping how enterprise renewals operate in an AI-first environment, ensuring the protection of millions in recurring revenue while continuously improving AI autonomy through every renewal cycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead executive-level engagement and manage commercial terms for top-tier enterprise renewals, including complex multi-year agreements worth seven figures.
- Work collaboratively with the AI renewals agent to systematically improve its capabilities and enable greater independence.
- Analyze customer health indicators, usage trends, and commercial data proactively to secure favorable renewal outcomes.
- Utilize Salesforce and AI-integrated platforms to maintain accurate forecasts, identify risks early, and prioritize tasks that require human judgment.
- Convert customer insights into scalable enhancements that improve the renewals process continuously.
What You Will Not Do
- Perform manual contract creation or handle administrative tracking tasks.
- Manage high-volume transactional renewals or small to mid-market portfolios.
- Engage in new business prospecting or work under standard commission sales models.
- Develop software code or design AI technologies.
- Lead or manage a renewals team instead of focusing on strategic customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Direct experience managing enterprise renewals for software clients with accounts of at least $100K ARR.
- Proven track record of achieving quarterly retention or Net Revenue Retention (NRR) targets of 90% or higher over multiple periods.
- History of managing complex multi-year renewals with deals valued at $1 million or more.
- Experience deploying AI-driven tools within renewals, customer success, or sales environments.
- Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems for forecasting, risk assessment, and pipeline management.
- Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Comfortable working fully remotely in a global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in optimizing AI prompts, workflows, or decision-making logic based on client engagements.
- Background in enterprise SaaS, cloud software, or subscription-based technologies.
- Ability to integrate contract analysis, customer health data, and product usage metrics into renewal strategies.
- Systems-oriented thinker focused on automating and scaling commercial operations.
