Position Overview

We seek a seasoned Storeperson to join our team at the CSI Kwinana Workshop, situated south of Perth. This Workshop is Western Australia's largest of its type, focusing on the fabrication of mining and processing plants along with maintenance of both fixed and mobile equipment. It provides services to MinRes and its client sites.

In this key operational position, the appointed candidate will oversee inventory management tasks, including materials receiving and issuing, as well as offer critical support for workshop and site teams ensuring availability of necessary equipment and parts. Maintaining a safe, efficient, and precise store operation environment will be an essential component of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, store, and issue materials, parts, and equipment with operational efficiency.
• Monitor stock levels diligently and collaborate with procurement to secure vital items when needed.
• Perform frequent and thorough stocktakes, ensuring inventory records are precise and up-to-date.
• Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts with strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Comply with all safety and regulatory standards governing store operations.
• Provide reliable material and equipment support to workshop and site teams in a timely manner.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials as operational demands require.
• Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe storage facility at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar storeperson role is essential.
• Must possess a valid HR Driver’s Licence with manual driving skills.
• Hold HRWL endorsements including DG (Dangerous Goods), RB (Rigid Body), and LF (Loader Forklift).
• Possession of a Construction Induction Card is required.
• Qualifications in Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Gas Testing are advantageous.
• Must pass a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
• Capability to fulfill pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening is mandatory.

• Work schedule follows a Monday to Saturday roster with 12-hour shifts each day.
