Job description

About The Role

We are searching for a versatile, customer-oriented professional to become part of our dedicated and high-achieving team located in East Tamaki. This position offers a mix of hands-on warehouse tasks and engaging customer service functions, giving you a dynamic work environment without being limited to just one area.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee warehouse operations including managing stock inflows and outflows, performing stock audits, accurately packing orders, and maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries via phone and email, assisting walk-in customers, processing orders, and ensuring clients are kept up-to-date with their order status.
  • Collaborate closely with a partner to share daily responsibilities, assist sales during busy periods, and promptly dispatch orders when stock is received.

Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse operations coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer engagement.
  • Possession of a valid Forklift License (F endorsement / OSH) is preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Technologically adept with keen attention to detail, comfortable adapting to sales and inventory management software, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physically fit with energy and stamina to perform active warehouse duties and contributing positively to the team environment with a proactive attitude.
  • Must have a clear Ministry of Justice record, be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening, and must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
