Job description
Overview
Join the dynamic team at Supermac's Westport and contribute to our ongoing success. This role requires candidates to have proven experience in restaurant management and a solid understanding of food operations and quality standards. Please note, visa sponsorship is not offered for this position, and only applicants with the legal right to work in Ireland will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the entire restaurant team, including assistant managers and training coordinators, to ensure store targets are met or surpassed.
- Act as the individual owner for the store's daily operations while aligning with overall company goals with support from the area manager.
- Manage recruitment, selection, staff placement, training, development, and human resource planning.
- Coach and mentor assistant and trainee managers to promote self-sufficiency and drive high sales and profit margins.
- Respond effectively to requests from head office departments and handle employee relations as well as customer complaints that may impact business.
- Engage with the local community to generate business and foster goodwill.
- Plan and prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Conduct timely in-house performance appraisals and formulate development plans for all employees.
- Maintain professionalism at all times, especially in public and when interacting with the media, referring such enquiries to the area manager or marketing director.
- Understand customer profiles and market dynamics to strategically target and grow business.
- Be fully flexible with working hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Achieve set targets related to food costs, labor costs, customer volume, quality service control audits, mystery shopper evaluations, and pizza audit scores.
