Role overview
This role focuses on leading talent acquisition activities to identify, assess, and place the right people in the right roles. You will partner closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and interview panels to understand hiring needs and guide them through the selection journey. The position owns the recruitment and interviewing process, serves as a primary contact for candidates, and supports hiring efforts tied to new distribution center launches, diversity recruiting, campus events, industry events, and other Chick-fil-A Supply service openings as needed.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contacts across client organizations.
- Run the full selection cycle, including gathering and analyzing recruitment data from start to finish in the applicant tracking system and using internal resources as needed.
- Evaluate candidates and make recommendations to move applicants forward or remove them from consideration.
- Lead the interview and selection workflow while keeping a productive partnership with hiring managers.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand business direction, strategy, and workforce needs.
- Use business insights to shape a proactive hiring approach.
- Source both active and passive talent to build a strong slate for interview teams.
- Create recruiting approaches that improve diversity and help ensure varied candidate slates are presented to hiring managers.
- Build and sustain a large, high-quality candidate pipeline.
- Deliver a strong candidate experience throughout the process.
- Track labor-market and workforce trends relevant to the industry.
- Partner with Total Rewards on compensation and job leveling.
- Meet or exceed annual targets for time-to-offer and time-to-fill for distribution center hiring.
- Meet or exceed service-level agreements across recruitment stages.
- Help train interviewers and coach them on effective hiring practices.
- Assist in onboarding and training new members of the talent acquisition team.
- Support recruitment for new Distribution Center openings, college campus events, industry events, and other openings when required.
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of recruiting experience.
- Strong interest in identifying people’s strengths and potential.
- Ability to juggle several projects and priorities at the same time.
- Good business judgment and the ability to understand broader business needs.
- Comfortable using email, Excel, Microsoft Windows, and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to deliver strong results while working independently with limited supervision.
- English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking to follow instructions, complete documentation, and understand company communications safely and accurately.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Spanish language skills are strongly preferred.
- 5 or more years of recruiting experience, including at least 3 years supporting distribution or manufacturing clients.
- Strong business communication ability.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across teams without direct authority.
- Background in food service distribution.
- Experience with behavioral interview methods.
- Experience sourcing and recruiting in distribution, manufacturing, or another high-volume environment.
- Exposure to startup business environments.
- Hands-on experience with the iCIMS applicant tracking system.
Role details
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Atlanta, Georgia. The role requires 30% travel. Relocation assistance is not offered.
