The Specialist Account Manager role within the Haematology team holds full responsibility for account management in the NSW north territory, including Sydney north, northwest, Central Coast, Newcastle, and the NSW north coast. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this position emphasizes delivering value via a science-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed key account strategies to drive growth and value.
- Clinically position GSK’s Haematology products as preferred treatments for suitable patients.
- Ensure continual engagement, education, and information-sharing with key accounts and stakeholders to support patient care and the effective use of medicines.
- Collaborate closely with internal commercial, medical, and sales teams to meet strategic objectives.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least two years of experience in a hospital specialist role demonstrating knowledge of hospital operational complexities.
- Beneficial (but not mandatory) experience in the Haematology therapeutic area.
- Strong communication skills capable of influencing both medical and commercial audiences.
- Scientific aptitude to clearly communicate complex information tailored to different audiences.
- Commercially aware with excellent account management, influencing capabilities, and relationship-building skills.
