Job Overview
This role invites professionals with a STEM background, particularly in engineering, to transition into a Special Agent position within a premier national law enforcement agency. The position offers a chance to leverage your technical skills while developing expertise in national security investigations that combat cyber threats, terrorism, and fraud.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage investigative efforts into suspected federal law violations, focusing on cybersecurity and public safety.
- Apply critical thinking and resourcefulness to meet diverse and constantly evolving investigative requirements.
- Develop and sustain cooperative relationships with an array of federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain stringent physical fitness standards to perform demanding law enforcement activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance is required.
- Must be prepared to travel as job demands.
- Meet all of the agency’s employment eligibility criteria.
- Hold a bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in engineering or a closely related field, from an accredited U.S. institution.
- All academic qualifications must be validated with official transcripts.
