About the Company
The company is building a collaborative AI workspace designed to help teams and agents work in one place. The platform brings knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools together so work becomes faster, clearer, and less fragmented. It is used by millions of people, from individuals and small teams to large enterprises.
Employees are expected to be customer zero for the product and to help shape the future of work with a strong emphasis on craft, durability, and human-centered technology. The focus is not simply on shipping features, but on setting a high bar for how people collaborate in the AI era.
Role Overview
This opening is for a new graduate engineer who will contribute to core product experiences and help users discover value more quickly. The role involves taking on meaningful work with growing independence, making important technical decisions, and bringing thoughtful perspectives to product development. You will collaborate closely with design, product, and data partners to influence how people work.
Hiring is open across multiple engineering teams, and the recruiter will help match the candidate with the team that best fits their interests and potential impact.
What You Will Do
- Partner with teammates to define, build, launch, and maintain new product features end to end, including ideation, research, implementation, and ongoing upkeep.
- Contribute to growth and activation efforts by improving onboarding flows and instrumenting key product moments.
- Work on performance, stability, and refinement of existing product areas.
- Improve utility-focused systems and internal tools that make the broader team more efficient, such as scripts for bringing feedback into the workspace.
- Take ownership of important projects and help drive technical direction as your responsibilities expand.
Qualifications
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- You must be available to begin full-time work before July 27, 2026.
- You have prior internship experience.
- You are building proficiency in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.
What We Look For
- You focus on delivering real user impact and view technology as a means to solve practical problems.
- You stay up to date with AI-assisted development tools and choose tools pragmatically based on value and fit.
- You approach problems carefully, break down complex issues, and work toward clear solutions independently or with help when needed.
- You take ownership of outcomes, communicate progress and blockers clearly, and move work forward without waiting for step-by-step direction.
- You collaborate well across functions and value learning, growth, and mutual support on a team.
- You enjoy building and maintaining polished web applications for a large audience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React.
- You understand how frontend, backend, and data layers connect, and familiarity with databases such as Postgres, MySQL, or MongoDB is beneficial.
Nice to Have
- Experience with parts of the existing stack, including React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, or Elasticsearch.
- Personal motivation for building software products for yourself or other people.
- Interest in how technology and society influence one another, and awareness of the responsibilities that come with building technology.
- Familiarity with computing pioneers such as Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, and Alan Kay.
