Role Overview

As part of our ACE NetworkAnalyzer Core Team, this position involves designing and implementing backend solutions primarily using Java and Spring. The role emphasizes collaborating on microservice development, building scalable RESTful APIs, integrating with diverse networking and security devices, and contributing to future product architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Create backend services utilizing Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs ensuring scalability and optimal performance.
• Work closely with the Devices team to model configurations and topologies from various networking and security products into a unified AlgoSec framework.
• Own end-to-end processes, diagnose complex issues, and provide durable solutions.
• Contribute to the design of the next generation of AlgoSec architectures.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in Java backend software development.
• In-depth knowledge of the Spring framework (including Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring Data).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering principles.
• Proficient in effectively utilizing AI chatbot tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for test case development, troubleshooting, and optimizing workflows.
• Experienced with AI-driven code assistance tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor within development environments.
• Ability to develop and work with AI agents and associated skills.
• Collaborative team player who is organized, quick to learn, independent, and upholds high integrity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with networking and security hardware such as firewalls, routers, and web filters.
• Experience using Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Comfortable working in Linux or UNIX operating systems.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Perl.
• Experience in developing Model-Driven Control Processes (MCPs).
• Expertise in evolving traditional software development lifecycles to agent-enabled systems.
• Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and semantic search technologies including vector databases.
