Role Overview
The Social Media Handler will be responsible for managing BMIIL’s presence on key social platforms. This involves crafting and scheduling posts, generating both written and visual content, and ensuring engaging and clear communication consistent with the organization’s voice. The role also includes monitoring interactions, responding promptly to comments and messages, and orchestrating campaigns timed with BMIIL events and announcements.
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule posts for multiple social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
- Develop engaging content combining copywriting and graphic elements using tools like Canva.
- Track social media performance through analytics, preparing reports on reach, engagement, and follower trends.
- Respond to audience queries and moderate discussions to maintain a positive and professional community environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather updates and align social media messaging with organizational goals.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management, including content creation and scheduling.
- Strong skills in copywriting and basic visual design, with familiarity using graphic tools such as Canva.
- Ability to analyze platform insights and generate reports to refine content strategies.
- Competent in community management with effective communication and moderation skills.
- Detail-oriented and collaborative, capable of working with diverse teams.
- An understanding of healthcare, MedTech, biomedical, or startup sectors is a plus.
- Preferred educational background includes a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, media studies, or related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
