Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Social Media and Community Manager to lead content creation, community engagement, and manage our social platforms. Reporting to the Head of Communications, this pivotal role requires hands-on content production using mobile technology with immediate publishing. The ideal candidate independently produces video content and drives brand growth through social media marketing linked directly to product expansion. Building authentic relationships and fostering an interactive community is crucial, as is operating in a fast-paced luxury medical environment alongside clinical teams and Dr. Vali.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture, edit, and upload daily original short-form videos using mobile devices on the clinic floor and various locations.
- Perform in-house post-production using tools like CapCut and Instagram Edits, including enhancing visuals and audio.
- Create diverse content formats such as reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels, and static posts from concept to final stage without external help.
- Craft on-brand captions, scripts, hooks, and overlays that reflect clinical expertise and luxury branding.
- Follow monthly content calendars and campaign briefs ensuring quality and brand conformity through proofreading and approvals.
- Engage daily with relevant social accounts by commenting, liking, replying, and building genuine connections with creators, clients, and influencers.
- Manage community conversations on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Threads with personalized and timely responses.
- Identify and pursue collaboration prospects, flagging opportunities to leadership.
- Maintain oversight of all social media channels, scheduling posts, managing content quality, and maintaining hashtag and formatting standards.
- Track social media metrics and prepare performance reports with actionable insights for strategic improvements.
- Support influencer seeding, including outreach, gifting coordination, and monitoring user-generated content permissions.
Requirements
- At least 2 to 3 years experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Proven record managing social media content for luxury, beauty, wellness, or premium consumer brands.
- Excellent copywriting skills adaptable across multiple platforms and formats.
- Hands-on proficiency filming and editing short-form videos primarily for Instagram and TikTok.
- A demonstrable portfolio of personally produced smartphone video content.
- Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
- Familiarity with creative editing software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms.
- Understanding of SEO, content optimization, and social media analytics.
- High attention to detail and excellent written English standards.
- Existing connections with content creators advantageous.
- Self-starter mindset with proactive initiative and independence in content creation.
Desirable Experience & Attributes
- Experience with influencer gifting programs and community management tools like ManyChat.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo.
- Interest or experience in luxury medical aesthetics, longevity, skincare science, or advanced skin technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment demanding high energy and excellence.
- A strong sense of luxury aesthetics combined with cultural awareness and passion for beauty industries.
