Job description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee operations and maintenance at a copper smelter and refinery complex. The role involves managing shift teams and ensuring the smooth functioning of various smelting and refining equipment and processes in a reputed Indian industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate shift crews to maintain optimal plant operations.
- Oversee operation of critical equipment including Flash Smelting Furnace (FSF), Slag Cleaning Furnace, Pierce-Smith Converters (PSC), Anode Furnace, Cast Wheel, and related furnace off-gas and slag handling systems.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with clients and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) auditors.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
Additional Information
Location for the position is Bhuj, India at a well-established Indian industrial organization.
