Company overview
JDE Peet’s is a global coffee business focused on creating products for every cup and building brands that resonate with customers. Now part of Keurig Dr Pepper, the company is positioned as the largest pure-play coffee organisation in the world, operating in more than 100 markets.
Through its ‘Reignite the Amazing’ strategy, the company is prioritising brand-led growth across three major brands: Peet’s, L’OR and Jacobs, along with a portfolio of local New Zealand favourites such as Moccona, L’OR, Hummingbird, Bell Tea, Jed’s and Ti Ora. In 2025, JDE Peet’s reported total sales of EUR 9.9 billion and employed over 21,000 people globally.
This is a chance to join a business with strong scale, visibility and a broad brand portfolio.
Role overview
The business is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable specialist to take ownership of AR activity for the New Zealand market. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working closely with different teams and improving how processes operate.
As the NZ Site Representative for Accounts Receivable, you will act as the main local contact for the regional Centre of Excellence AR team based in Malaysia. You will oversee daily AR activity, handle escalations, ensure local requirements are understood, and support the broader regional process. The role may occasionally require work outside standard business hours to support the regional team.
You will serve as the local subject matter expert for AR, with responsibilities including ageing review, credit control support, AR analysis, reconciliations and process accuracy. The role also contributes to cash flow, working capital management and internal control compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the working relationship with the AR Centre of Excellence team and resolve issues efficiently.
- Work with Sales, Customer Service and Finance to close out AR-related queries.
- Monitor aged receivables and overdue accounts, and support credit control actions.
- Review customer account reconciliations and follow through on outstanding items.
- Support the accurate handling of customer rebates, credits and account adjustments.
- Prepare and assess AR balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide commentary on aged or unusual balances and help improve working capital outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies and audit expectations.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes and help implement system or policy changes.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate should bring solid AR or credit control experience, along with the confidence to operate in a fast-moving commercial environment. Experience in FMCG is beneficial, as is exposure to shared service or outsourced finance models.
You will need strong communication skills, the ability to work across functions, sound analytical thinking and comfort with ageing reports and reconciliations. Strong capability in Excel and SAP is expected.
The role suits someone who is proactive, organised, solutions-oriented and able to work with a high level of accuracy. A valid unrestricted work visa is required.
Additional information
This position may require flexibility to work outside normal business hours when needed to support the regional team.
Applications should include a short cover letter in the message section explaining your motivation for joining JDE Peet’s in this role. Emails are not accepted for applications.
Only candidates who already have legal permission to work in New Zealand without restrictions will be considered.
