Job Role Summary
The Site Operative plays a crucial role in maintaining the site’s daily order and supporting the site team’s activities.
Daily Responsibilities
- Cleaning and upkeep of site welfare facilities.
- Correct storage and organization of materials.
- Supervising deliveries during unloading.
- Ensuring safe access to welfare amenities.
- Maintaining and enhancing pedestrian walkways around the site.
- Installing and updating all relevant site signage.
- Keeping the entire site visually presentable.
- Ensuring sales presentation standards are met.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety inside the individual plots at all times.
- Assisting with preparation of plots for NHBC inspections.
- Protecting second fix elements from damage.
- Managing opening and locking of the site and plots at the beginning and end of workdays.
- General housekeeping duties across the site.
Team Collaboration
- Providing support to the site team and specialist trades as needed.
Health & Safety
- Ensuring that walkways remain unobstructed and managing traffic safely on site.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Possession of a valid CSCS card.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and tradespeople.
- Willingness and ability to travel between various sites within the region.
- Full clean driving license.
- Strong awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
