About IES University
IES University in Ratibad, Bhopal, is a renowned institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and infrastructure development. The university is in search of an experienced Site Civil Engineer to oversee its construction and maintenance projects.
Job Overview
The Site Civil Engineer will plan, supervise, and implement construction activities on campus, ensuring compliance with blueprints and project specifications. The ideal candidate must meet all specified qualifications and have relevant site experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction operations on-site
- Ensure work complies with approved designs and specifications
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Track project milestones, quality control, and safety standards
- Prepare and keep detailed site reports and documentation
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot technical challenges
- Manage timely project completion within budget constraints
- Validate invoices, measurements, and material consumption
- Maintain safety and environmental protocols throughout projects
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech - Civil)
- 3 to 7 years of pertinent site experience, preferably in educational or institutional construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and site management
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and bills of quantities
- Excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with institutional or campus infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with governmental regulations and compliance standards
- Effective communication and coordination abilities
