Signage Production and Installation Technician

Job Location and Experience Requirement

The position is based in Doha, Qatar and requires 4 to 5 years of professional experience. Preference is given to candidates with experience in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and basic verbal communication, is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package includes a competitive salary assessed based on individual experience. Benefits comprise either an accommodation allowance or provision of accommodation and food allowance in accordance with company guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install diverse types of indoor and outdoor signage.
• Prepare preparation of surfaces and substrates for the application of vinyl graphics and other signage materials.
• Apply vinyl graphics accurately, ensuring high-quality finish.
• Mount, laminate, trim, and finalize printed graphics prior to installation.
• Install various signage forms, such as Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) cladding, three-dimensional channel letters, acrylic and metal letters, large-format vinyl graphics, banners, posts and panel signs, wayfinding and directional signage, as well as sign frames and concrete base installations.
• Safely and effectively manage various installation tools, machinery, and power equipment.
• Interpret and utilize technical drawings, dimensions, and installation layouts to guide work.
• Perform thorough quality inspections throughout all phases of installation.
• Collaborate with production and project teams to guarantee timely completion of assignments.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and keep the working environment clean and well-organized.
• Adhere consistently to workplace health, safety, and quality standards.
• Be prepared to travel to installation sites as required.

Required Qualifications

• Between 4 and 5 years of relevant experience in signage production, fabrication, and installation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of both indoor and outdoor signage manufacturing processes.
• Strong background in applying vinyl graphics, mounting, and laminate processes.
• Hands-on experience with ACP cladding, channel letters, structural signage, and overall sign fabrication.
• Skilled in operating installation tools and power equipment safely.
• Capable of reading technical drawings and production specifications with accuracy.
• Keen attention to detail, ensuring excellent workmanship quality.
• Effective organizational, planning, and time management capabilities.
• Adept at working independently and within team environments.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks and working from heights as needed during installations.
• Willingness to travel to project locations for installation duties.
• Good proficiency in English for reading, writing, and basic communication.
• Experience in GCC countries is advantageous.
