Signage Fabrication and Installation Technician

Job Location and Type

This position is based in Doha, Qatar, and requires onsite full-time work.

Experience and Language Requirements

Candidates should have 4 to 5 years of experience in signage fabrication and installation. Experience within the GCC region is preferred but not mandatory. Basic English proficiency for reading, writing, and communication is required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install a variety of indoor and outdoor signage solutions.
• Interpret technical drawings, production layouts, and installation plans to execute tasks accurately.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish signage components with industry-standard tools.
• Prepare surfaces properly for vinyl application to ensure alignment and quality finishing.
• Apply self-adhesive vinyl graphics on diverse materials such as acrylic, glass, metal, composite panels, and vehicles.
• Carry out mounting, laminating, trimming, and finishing of printed graphics according to production standards.
• Install illuminated signs including 3D channel letters, lightboxes, directional signs, and commercial branding elements.
• Perform ACP cladding installations and related finishing work as necessary.
• Ensure safe installation practices on customer sites adhering to workplace safety guidelines.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed work to verify accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with production and installation teams to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and the work environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, retail, or advertising signage projects.
• Expertise in vinyl graphic application, finishing, and signage assembly.
• Experience with illuminated signs, channel letters, lightboxes, and ACP cladding installation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation layouts.
• Proficient with workshop tools, fabrication machinery, and installation methods.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks at heights and on-site environments.
• Positive attitude with good time management and teamwork skills.
