Job Overview
We require an experienced ServiceNow Service Operations Management (SOM) Developer with substantial hands-on knowledge in SOM along with ITSM or CSM modules. The candidate should have completed multiple full lifecycle ServiceNow projects and demonstrated excellence in development, integrations, and platform customization.
Key Duties
- Architect, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions focusing on Service Operations Management (SOM).
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications adhering to platform best practices.
- Contribute to at least two end-to-end ServiceNow SOM implementation engagements.
- Develop and tailor Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Glide APIs.
- Create advanced user interfaces using UI Builder, Workspaces, and Service Portal.
- Develop workflows via Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Implement REST/SOAP integrations, Scripted REST APIs, and third-party system connections.
- Manage configuration and maintenance of Service Catalog, Notifications, Email Actions, CMDB, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Update Sets.
- Diagnose production issues, enhance platform performance, and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout projects.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and embrace ServiceNow development standards.
- Support creation and deployment of AI-driven applications and agents using modern tools such as ChatGPT, Cloud AI platforms, VS Code, GitHub, and Cursor.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 4 years of practical experience in ServiceNow development.
- Completed at least two full-cycle ServiceNow SOM implementations.
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow SOM combined with ITSM or CSM modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting frameworks.
- Experienced in Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs.
- Skilled with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, UI Builder, Workspaces, and Service Portal.
- In-depth understanding of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Scripted REST APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Hands-on familiarity with Notifications, Email Actions, Service Catalog, CMDB, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Update Sets.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted development approaches and modern tools such as ChatGPT, Cloud AI platforms, VS Code, GitHub, and Cursor.
Preferred Credentials and Attributes
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is desirable.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is advantageous.
- Additional certifications in SOM, ITSM, or CSM add value.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with AI-based applications and cloud development environments is a plus.
Location and Employment Type
Work location is Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, requiring presence at the office. The position is full-time.
