Service & Interaction Designer - Grade V

About the Role

The Mater Transformation unit within Mater Misericordiae University Hospital (MMUH) is focused on collaborating with frontline healthcare teams to address complex challenges. This multidisciplinary team consists of clinical and non-clinical staff with expertise in lean six sigma, human-centered design, and collective leadership methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead design research initiatives, develop concepts, create prototypes, test solutions, and refine them through iterative processes.
• Engage closely with hospital staff, patients, caregivers, families, and other key stakeholders throughout the design journey.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and the project team to ensure timely, high-quality, and budget-conscious execution of projects.
• Plan and implement evaluations of improvement initiatives; disseminate outcomes via publications and presentations.
• Manage administrative tasks related to your research program.
