Overview
Tesla is hiring a Service Advisor in Naples, Florida to support a globally recognized vehicle brand and contribute to its mission of accelerating the world’s shift to sustainable energy. This position involves frequent interaction with customers and internal service teams, along with a strong focus on technical learning and outstanding service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of customer care by responding quickly to questions and concerns, owning each service visit, and maintaining a warm, welcoming experience.
- Evaluate vehicle-related concerns, explain service recommendations in clear language, and where possible provide guidance by phone.
- Listen carefully to customer issues, ask the right follow-up questions to pinpoint the problem, and involve a Service Manager when escalation is required.
- Work closely with technicians, and record service information accurately in the Dealer Management System with strong attention to detail.
- Process transactions, help customers understand corrections, and clearly summarize the repairs completed.
- Balance multiple appointments and priorities, keep records organized, share timely status updates, and complete follow-ups thoroughly.
- Create trust through empathy, patience, and professional handling of complex concerns to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair practices, including the tools, materials, and techniques used in service work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for sharing estimates, updates, and technical details in a customer-friendly way.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving ability, with the confidence to collaborate on timely solutions.
- Patience and empathy when dealing with difficult customer situations or complex vehicle issues.
- Good time management and organization to maintain accurate records and meet critical deadlines.
- Comfort using Dealer Management Systems, Outlook, and Microsoft Office, plus a willingness to learn new automotive technologies.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
