About the Role

Join House of EdTech (Goenka Kachave LLP) as a Senior Video Editor based in Bengaluru (Kudlu Gate) working full-time from the office. This position requires a creative technologist who expertly combines classic video editing skills with AI-driven content creation to produce engaging educational videos. You will be part of a cutting-edge EdTech studio whose content reaches over 5 million learners across India and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit both long and short format educational videos including tutorials, explainers, and case studies.
• Perform color grading, quality control, and optimization for YouTube and social media platforms.
• Utilize AI tools like Sora, Veo3, Runway, Midjourney, HeyGen, and ElevenLabs to generate visuals, B-roll, avatars, and transitions.
• Develop compelling scripts, storyboards, and visual concepts by understanding audience psychology and educational narratives.
• Create and animate motion graphics such as infographics, title sequences, lower thirds, and branded templates using After Effects.
• Handle sound design by layering music, sound effects, dialogue, and syncing AI voices with visuals to deliver polished audio mixes.
• Manage projects ensuring organized file handling, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with educators and marketing teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in video editing or content creation.
• Graduate degree in any discipline; preference given to Design, Film, or Media studies.
• Proficient in traditional editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro.
• Strong skills in color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and visual storytelling.
• Experience and familiarity with AI-based content tools such as Google Veo3, Runway, Midjourney, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, and Sora.
• Good to have knowledge of EdTech video content, YouTube optimization and SEO, AI-based scriptwriting, and integrating live-action with animation.

Work Conditions

• Full-time position requiring 6 working days per week with Sunday off.
• Work is conducted onsite in Bengaluru; candidates should ideally use their personal laptops.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from INR 50,000 to 68,000, commensurate with expertise and experience.
