Job Overview
Join Aggreko as a Senior Storeperson located in Cloncurry. This role supports daily business operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of inventory through proper planning, preparation, documentation, and packaging in accordance with Aggreko's quality standards. The position operates on a 2:1 roster schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing goods processing tasks.
- Oversee and document all movements of equipment entering and leaving the facility.
- Maintain precise inventory records and stock counts using company internal systems.
- Evaluate stocktake findings and investigate any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with inventory management protocols, including procedures and controls.
- Conduct random audits and on-site inventory verifications as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Logistics, and Projects departments.
- Keep complete documentation to support accurate inventory tracking.
- Handle all external delivery vehicles safely and promptly for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain accurate records in the central warehouse inventory system.
- Address urgent inventory requests for spare parts stored onsite.
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to address delivery and return issues.
- Abide by Queensland Health, Safety & Environment policies and practices.
- Keep the working environment clean, organized, and safe.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Possession of a current vehicle driver's license and forklift certification.
- Heavy Rigid vehicle licensing is advantageous.
- Quick adaptability to inventory ERP software and understanding of products and logistics.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication abilities and effective time management skills.
