Role Overview
As a Senior Solution Advisor, you will bridge the gap between Sales and Delivery teams, translating client business objectives into tailored technology solutions and guiding the evaluation process during sales cycles. This role involves liaising with strategic clients, building robust technical partnerships, and clearly articulating the benefits of WalkMe's products to meet client needs. You will operate under the leadership of the Director of Solution Advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Account Executives during customer evaluations by addressing technical inquiries, resolving configuration and development issues, and managing escalations with Support and Engineering teams.
- Design and execute discovery tactics to uncover business challenges related to revenue, cost, and risk through insightful questioning.
- Develop and present innovative, customized solution demonstrations both remotely and on-site to advance the sales process.
- Manage the scoping, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of solutions; define success parameters and oversee technical Proofs of Concept (POCs).
- Convey complex business concepts and technical architectures visually through whiteboarding; express WalkMe's value proposition in business and technical language.
- Lead executive-level presentations and detailed technical discussions with IT and development stakeholders.
- Produce comprehensive technical specifications and documentation supporting solution proposals.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand technology requirements and design appropriate solutions; serve as a trusted advisor throughout decision making.
- Collect and communicate client feedback to Product Management and Engineering to guide product development and improvement.
- Represent WalkMe at industry field events, delivering presentations to diverse audiences and contributing content such as blogs and webinars to enhance product awareness.
- Operate independently and as part of a collaborative team, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Travel may be necessary as part of job responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience working in SaaS environments with enterprise customers, holding positions such as technical pre-sales, Solution Advisor, Sales Engineer, or technical/functional consultant.
- Proven track record with enterprise software products or services, preferably with experience in Service Management and integrations.
- Strong aptitude for assessing client needs, identifying business challenges, and architecting solutions that deliver measurable impact.
- Excellent public speaking skills and the ability to communicate effectively across varied audiences, including clients and internal teams.
- Capability to interpret and articulate intricate technical concepts clearly for audiences with differing technical expertise.
- Experience creating and demonstrating tailored demo environments for a range of stakeholders from engineers to executives.
- Familiarity with SAP products and CRM systems such as Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Experience in both direct and digital sales engagements is advantageous.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to convey technical and non-technical information effectively.
- Adept at rapid self-learning of new technologies and comfortable discussing modern tools and industry trends.
- Highly motivated, intellectually sharp, and driven with a proactive 'get the job done' attitude.
- Flexible and able to adapt to fast-changing environments while maintaining a positive, collaborative team spirit.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, sales, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise technology landscapes and business contexts.
Preferred Technical Knowledge
- Web technologies including HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with mobile technologies.
