Role Overview

The role of Senior Relationship Manager in the Mid-Market & Supply Chain department is based in Delhi and involves managing financing solutions for small and medium enterprises' working capital and supply chain requirements. The focus lies on loan book growth, profitability, and stringent risk management to avoid delinquencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow loan portfolios by driving pipeline funnels and expanding market share against competitors.
• Analyze local market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
• Maintain strong client relationships to minimize attrition and foster cross-selling.
• Engage regularly with intermediaries such as investment bankers and chartered accountants to source new clients.
• Monitor and track accounts closely to detect early signs of non-performing assets (NPAs) and escalate delinquencies.
• Manage timely loan disbursal by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring complete documentation.
• Collect and share market intelligence to refine strategies with sales leadership.
• Ensure portfolio quality and profitability through disciplined pricing, cost controls, and collection efforts.
• Follow all organizational processes for both pre- and post-lending activities and contribute to sales reporting improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Masters degree in Finance or related discipline.
• Five to seven years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably dealing with SME finance.
• Well-versed in business finance principles, loan structuring techniques, and credit administration.
• Deep understanding of local industry sectors, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
• Ability to execute effective portfolio selection and monitor collateral to manage credit risk.
