Role Overview
RCC is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to help ensure the delivery of significant, high-profile projects. This role involves managing large, complex developments in sectors including health, social infrastructure, and education. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in project execution encompassing design coordination, quality management, and guaranteeing excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project coordination and management of subcontractors to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards.
- Address and resolve design-related issues, providing technical guidance throughout design and construction phases.
- Create, administer, and regularly update comprehensive project schedules for effective programme control.
- Manage on-site activities such as cost control, quality assurance, and environmental compliance, while reporting progress consistently.
- Promote and enforce health and safety practices, ensuring all operations adhere to regulatory and industry safety requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess relevant building and tertiary qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong technical competencies with an aptitude for leading teams and solving complex challenges.
- Proven ability to oversee subcontractor performance and coordinate design efforts.
- Knowledge of cost management, quality control processes, and environmental regulations.
- Committed to upholding and advocating health and safety standards.
