Role Overview
The Senior IT Manager will oversee the technology backbone for retail operations, ensuring that POS, ERP, networking, cybersecurity, internal IT support, vendor coordination, and system enhancements run efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage day-to-day retail technology operations and support business continuity across stores and systems.
- Administer and support Ginesys software, including configuration and troubleshooting, as this experience is mandatory.
- Look after POS and ERP systems to keep retail transactions and business processes functioning smoothly.
- Maintain network connectivity and overall IT infrastructure for operational reliability.
- Oversee cybersecurity practices and help protect systems, data, and retail operations from risk.
- Handle internal IT support requirements and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance, service delivery, and technology-related requirements.
- Plan and manage system upgrades and retail technology initiatives to improve performance and stability.
Requirements
The candidate must have hands-on experience in Ginesys software support and configuration. The role requires the ability to manage retail IT systems, infrastructure, security, and vendor-driven technology work.
- Strong experience with Ginesys software support and configuration.
- Capability to manage POS and ERP environments.
- Knowledge of network administration and IT infrastructure management.
- Understanding of cybersecurity and IT security controls.
- Experience handling IT support operations and technology vendors.
- Ability to supervise upgrades and retail technology implementation projects.
