Senior Instrument Technician

Role Overview

Yamama Cement seeks a Senior Instrument Technician responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation systems to guarantee equipment reliability, safe operations, and continuous cement production.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on control and instrumentation equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose field instruments to detect faults and maintain optimal functionality.
• Carry out routine inspections and raise requests for necessary maintenance work.
• Install, calibrate, test, and validate instrumentation devices and measurement tools.
• Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols and adhere strictly to safety standards during maintenance tasks.
• Oversee stack dust monitoring systems to ensure ongoing compliance with environmental regulations.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and coordinate maintenance activities while keeping precise maintenance documentation.
• Assist in scheduled shutdowns and annual preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Completion of Industrial High School or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• Diploma in Electronics, Control, Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline is advantageous.
• Relevant experience: 2 to 4 years for Industrial High School graduates; 1 to 2 years if holding a diploma.
• Prior experience in instrumentation maintenance in manufacturing or heavy industrial sectors preferred.
