Senior Graphic Designer

About the Role

Hashtag Inc. is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with 4 to 6 years of experience, based in Chennai, Anna Nagar. This role requires someone who sets the benchmark for graphic design quality, handling challenging briefs and elevating the visual work that the company produces. You will be entrusted with ownership of intricate campaigns and branding projects, pushing creative boundaries, and mentoring fellow designers to enhance their skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design efforts for key brands and campaigns, establishing high visual standards for the team.
• Transform briefs into impactful and original visual concepts putting ideas before execution.
• Guide and mentor graphic designers and associates to develop their craft and provide constructive feedback to improve quality.
• Be the primary resource for challenging projects and assist in complex design problems.
• Manage quality control and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of brand projects.
• Collaborate closely with Brand Partnerships, Content, and Motion teams to bring projects to completion.

Success Metrics (First Six Months)

• Deliver top-tier work on assigned brands.
• Support measurable improvement in the performance of designers under your guidance.
• Ensure projects are executed punctually and meet established standards.
• Act as deputy for the Head of Design when required.

Candidate Profile

• 4 to 6 years of graphic design experience within an agency or respected in-house team.
• A distinctive portfolio showcasing expertise across brand identity, content creation, and campaign design.
• Strong conceptual and art direction skills alongside solid execution capabilities.
• A generous mentor committed to uplifting the skills of peers.
• Highly dependable, capable of working efficiently under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with UI/UX principles.
• Experience or sensitivity in motion graphics or film.
