Senior Executive - Accounts Receivable

About the Role

This position is for a Senior Executive in Accounts Receivable at a leading sea food processing company located in Chennai, operating their Frozen Foods Division. The company has manufacturing units across South India and emphasizes efficient account management within their financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing sales order processing activities to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Developing and monitoring collection plans and conducting follow-ups on outstanding payments.
• Collaborating with the sales department to address accounts receivable issues such as credit notes and reconciliations.
• Validating and obtaining approvals for credit notes related to promotional schemes.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports on trade receivables ageing.
• Maintaining credit control through SAP, including updating customer master data, credit limits, and credit periods.
• Generating comprehensive accounts receivable reports as required.
• Updating customer agreements and ensuring KYC documentation is current.
• Confirming balances and verifying invoices with customers.
• Assisting with internal and statutory audits focused on accounts receivable.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably within food processing, consumer goods, or manufacturing sectors.
• Possession of a full-time B.Com or M.Com degree from a recognized institution.
• Mandatory proficiency in SAP for credit control and accounts receivable management.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between 500000 and 700000 INR per annum.
