Job Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable and efficient data models tailored for reporting and advanced analytics.
• Create, update, and maintain diverse reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator visualizations.
• Design and oversee the operation of data warehouses and data marts to support business intelligence needs.
• Manage supporting BI tools, facilitate data integration efforts, handle ETL pipelines, and maintain database environments.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and training resources to facilitate adoption of BI solutions.
• Continuously monitor and incorporate emerging BI technologies and industry best practices.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in BI development, data engineering, or similarly related roles.
• Proficiency in Python programming, SQL querying, and robust knowledge of data warehousing principles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, specifically Lambda functions, S3 storage, and Redshift data warehousing.
• Familiarity with BI and analytics visualization platforms, notably Power BI.
• Basic understanding of data science methodologies, with added advantage for machine learning exposure.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving capabilities, effective communication, and leadership qualities.
• Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Data Analytics or comparable AWS credentials.
• Experience working with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Amazon EMR, or Athena.
• Knowledge of software development best practices including usage of Git version control, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, and Agile workflows.
• Exposure or experience within the airline, air freight, or broader supply chain sectors is advantageous.

Educational Requirements

Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
