Senior Analyst - Business Data Services

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Analyst specialized in Business Data Services to work from our Bengaluru office (five days a week) during AUS shifts (4 AM to 2 PM).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Master Data Management activities ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Master Data management tasks.
• Create and update Material and Vendor master data accurately.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on master data quality and accuracy metrics.
• Train and guide team members for smooth operational delivery.
• Maintain and ensure adherence to data quality standards and SLAs.
• Identify and resolve master data issues, coordinate analysis, and facilitate corrective actions.
• Support Master Data Health Checks and Audit Trail validations regularly.
• Document and implement feedback and lessons learned from varied sources to improve master data procedures.
• Clarify data governance responsibilities and assess their impact on compliance and quality.
• Assist with project transitions ensuring first-time accurate data delivery.
• Maintain punctuality in report submissions and escalate SOP deviations appropriately.
• Facilitate effective communication between business and internal teams.
• Understand SAP ECC master data flows and manage incident tickets with help desks as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and secure client sign-offs per schedules.
• Support adoption of new technologies, process updates, and complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Understand supplier environments, project management contexts, and retail technical landscapes.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP S4 HANA / ECC systems.
• Strong analytical abilities with a results-oriented and customer-centric approach.
• Effective communication skills and responsibility in task execution.
• Self-motivated team player enjoying dynamic work environments.
• Proficient English language skills.
• Willingness and flexibility to work AUS shifts.
• In-depth knowledge of Material Master Data requirements.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Mindset geared towards continuous improvement and data-driven project support.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, or related sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze problems independently and resolve master data issues working with business units.
