Senior Analog Layout Designer

Overview

Retym, Inc. is hiring experienced layout engineers for a well-funded startup environment. The role focuses on building advanced ADC/DAC layouts for optical communication systems using leading-edge process technologies.

What you will do

You will contribute to the physical layout of high-performance mixed-signal blocks, with a strong emphasis on low-noise, high-speed design and readiness for tape-out.

Role requirements

Applicants should bring deep experience in advanced sub-micron processes, along with practical knowledge of modern EDA workflows and semiconductor layout best practices.

Minimum qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience working in sub-micron process nodes, including 2 nm to 16 nm TSMC technologies.
• Proven ability to lead technical layout work for high-speed, low-noise designs.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cadence layout tools.
• Exposure to TSMC FinFET and/or Gate-All-Around design technologies.
• Solid understanding of schematic-driven design flow.
• Comfort working collaboratively in a team setting.
• Practical experience with tape-out procedures.

Preferred qualifications

• Self-driven and highly motivated.
• Quick to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience using both Mentor and Cadence toolsets is an added advantage.

This position is based in Yerevan, Yerevan, Armenia and is offered as a full-time onsite role.
