Role overview
Orbital Critical Systems, part of the CAF Group, develops safety-critical software for aerospace, defence, and transport. The company is hiring Junior Avionics Engineers for ground and flight test work on-site in Germany, supporting Airbus-related programs. The role is available across several German locations, including Manching, Donauwörth, Ulm, and other sites.
What you will do
- Support the planning and preparation of avionics ground and flight test campaigns, including flight test program activities.
- Carry out on-aircraft ground testing and monitor live flight-test operations in real time.
- Review test outputs, study deviations, and prepare reports based on the results.
- Create analysis tools and software, and help define the related technical requirements.
- Work closely with design, development, and test teams across functions.
Requirements
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Practical exposure to avionics testing and analysis of test data.
- English proficiency at B2/C1 level is mandatory.
- German proficiency at B1/B2 level is mandatory.
- Only candidates who hold citizenship of a European country are eligible.
Compensation and benefits
- Estimated annual compensation of €50,000 to €65,000.
