Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with comprehensive expertise in GST, Income Tax, and overall regulatory compliance. The role involves managing end-to-end client compliance processes and liaising with clients to gather required data and documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Filing GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns
- Managing GST registrations and related paperwork
- Preparing Income Tax Returns (ITR) for both individuals and businesses
- Deadline-driven TDS return filings and adherence to compliance standards
- Proactively following up with clients to obtain necessary data and documentation
- Drafting responses to Income Tax and GST notices
- Handling business registrations such as MSME/Udyam and GST
- Maintaining accurate books of accounts utilizing Tally software
- Ensuring timely and precise compliance with statutory requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- In-depth knowledge of GST and Income Tax regulations
- Proficiency in using Tally accounting software
- Effective communication and client servicing skills
- Competence in drafting and documentation
- Strong focus on compliance and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Winman software
- Familiarity with handling notices and conducting assessments
- Prior work experience at a Chartered Accountant firm
