Key Responsibilities

• Promote company programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns where applicable.
• Remain vigilant in observing customer activity to identify when help is necessary.
• Provide courteous explanations for any self-service interventions or quality audits, reassuring customers that such checks are standard procedure.
• Understand procedures for responding to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarms and document incidents using the appropriate logs.
• Alert the Customer Service Manager if the self-checkout area requires cash replenishment or experiences technical difficulties.
• Ensure Scan & Go devices are returned properly after use.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.05.
