Description de l'emploi
Role overview
NTT DATA is looking for a Security Technical Architect to shape secure technology solutions across systems, applications, infrastructure, cloud, and data environments. In this role, you will work alongside engineering, development, infrastructure, and project teams to make sure security is built into design and delivery from the start. You will act as a trusted technical partner, help define standards, guide security decisions, and support both client-facing and internal initiatives.
What you will do
- Create and evolve an enterprise security architecture approach that supports business goals, technical direction, and compliance needs.
- Design and lead security solutions covering network, cloud, application, infrastructure, and data protection areas.
- Review new and existing systems to spot weaknesses and recommend practical mitigation measures.
- Produce and maintain architecture artefacts such as diagrams, patterns, reference models, standards, and policies.
- Serve as a technical advisor to IT, cloud, development, product, and infrastructure teams on security matters.
- Assess and promote modern security tools and capabilities that strengthen the organisation’s security posture.
- Work with stakeholders to embed security throughout the full lifecycle of technology delivery, from planning to operations.
- Share expertise through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to security and technical teams.
- Contribute to pre-sales support, proof-of-concept activities, proposal validation, executive summaries, statements of work, network diagrams, and pricing-related review.
- Help drive incident response activities and security policy enforcement where needed.
What you need to bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or another related technical discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Valid CISSP certification, which is required.
- At least 8 years of cybersecurity experience, including 5 or more years focused on security architecture, security design, or enterprise security engineering.
- Proven success building and deploying security solutions in large, complex enterprise settings.
- Strong familiarity with security frameworks and models such as NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA, and secure architecture principles.
- Solid knowledge of network security, cryptography, identity and access management, cloud security, and modern application security practices.
- Additional credentials such as CISM, CRISC, TOGAF, or similar are an advantage.
- Practical experience securing cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and confidence working through complex multi-stakeholder decisions.
