Overview
The Seasoning Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the production of premium products at the Taber Manufacturing Facility. They balance four key objectives: People, Quality, Service, and Cost within the seasoning operations.

Compensation and Shift Details
Hourly pay is $23.75. Work schedule involves a rotating shift pattern of 3 days on followed by 3 days off, with 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Flexibility to work both day and night shifts is required.
Role Responsibilities
- Set up and operate seasoning equipment efficiently and safely.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on seasoning application and salt content using Aim Charting methodology.
- Manage conveyor systems (OMS) to maintain proper product flow.
- Collaborate closely with Process Technicians, Packaging Machine Operators, and Lab Technicians.
- Lead and support technicians during machine changeovers ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and understand production scheduling to minimize disruptions.
- Complete packaging line setups following company standards.
- Apply Product Attribute Evaluation (PAE) and Product Wall certification standards.
- Safeguard seasoning bag or tote integrity during storage and monitor inventory, reporting damages and expiration dates.
- Prepare Product Safety Management (PSM) documentation during changeovers.
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and mentor staff on GMP compliance.
- Perform correct cleaning and shutdown processes prior to sanitation procedures.
- Assist with sanitation tasks and preventive maintenance duties as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent physical coordination and stamina.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong team orientation with eagerness to learn.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Reliable with dedication to safety and food safety protocols.
- Comprehensive understanding of business operations and seasoning's role within it.
- Aim to attain Seasoner Level 1 certification within 3 months.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting is essential.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to carry loads between 45-60 lbs continuously during 12-hour shifts.
- Frequent pushing or pulling of weights up to 80 lbs.
- Routine activities involving standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
- Completion of safety, quality, and food safety training alongside strict adherence to related policies.
