Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Scrum Master Business Analyst with over 7 years of expertise in Agile project execution, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires facilitating Scrum processes, bridging business requirements with technical teams, and promoting Agile best practices to ensure successful product delivery. Strong analytical abilities, clear communication, and driving collaborative synergy across teams are essential attributes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure alignment and progress.
- Guide Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile frameworks, and encourage continuous process improvements.
- Identify, monitor, and resolve obstacles hindering team performance.
- Track sprint progress and oversee successful delivery of project objectives within set timelines.
- Encourage cooperative working relationships among Product Owners, development teams, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Measure Agile performance through velocity, burndown charts, and sprint outcomes.
- Foster a culture centered on responsibility, openness, and ongoing refinement.
- Support enterprise-wide Agile adoption and transformation efforts.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document thorough business requirements through workshops, interviews, and process reviews.
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain the product backlog effectively.
- Evaluate and suggest enhancements to current business processes.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and validate solution deliverables.
- Ensure seamless communication of business necessities to technical teams.
- Assist with change management initiatives to promote user adoption.
Required Skills and Experience
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
- Practical experience using Agile management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalents.
- Proficient in requirement gathering, process mapping, and business analysis techniques.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development models.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
- Skilled in backlog management and user story development.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Experienced in conducting workshops and facilitating cross-departmental meetings.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Certifications like Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master highly valued.
- Business Analysis credentials such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA advantageous.
- Experience contributing to Agile or digital transformation projects.
- Basic familiarity with SQL, API integrations, and data analytics is beneficial.
Experience
- At least 7 years in roles encompassing Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or combined Scrum Master/Business Analyst responsibilities.
- Demonstrated capability in delivering projects using Agile methodologies within cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to enterprise-level applications, cloud environments, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
