Managing over 250 projects weekly both for residential and commercial builders, the company is poised for ongoing growth.
Job Overview
With a growing project workload particularly involving significant residential and large-scale commercial tasks, the team seeks an additional team member proficient in producing scaffold drawings using iScaf software to reduce the workload on the current sole drafter.
Role Responsibilities
- Create scaffold drawings in iScaf software based on working drawings provided by builders.
- Trace wall lines and determine scaffold layout including configurations, lift heights, and bay arrangements for both residential and commercial construction jobs.
- Compile gear lists derived from the completed scaffold drawings.
- Collaborate closely with the head drafter and project director to clarify scopes and delivery demands.
- Update and manage revisions to drawings as builders make changes to the initial plans.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Proven competency with iScaf software is mandatory; this position is not designed for training novices.
- Must instantly comprehend scaffold scope from working drawings and consistently produce precise, accurate drawings independently.
- Possess a strong background in scaffold drafting or estimating with a firm grasp of bay layouts, platform setups, lift heights, and builder drawings.
- Highly detail-driven, quick in turnaround, and dependable work ethic essential.
