Job Overview

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across the facility to ensure product quality and safety standards are upheld. This full-time role is based onsite in Savannah, GA, working a 12-hour day shift on a 2/2/3 schedule, Monday through Friday.

Primary Duties

  • Sanitize equipment, tools, and changeover components through approved procedures and materials.
  • Clean slats and parts utilizing dishwashers, sinks, or spray hoses.
  • Properly label and store sanitized items to avoid contamination risks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other communal spaces.
  • Collect and dispose of waste throughout the facility.
  • Support cleaning functions within packaging and manufacturing areas.
  • Keep personal work areas tidy and organized.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience ranging from none up to one year, with preference for backgrounds in sanitation or manufacturing.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds and remain active by standing, bending, and moving throughout shifts.
  • Comfortable exposure to powders, chemicals, and food allergens.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required by business demands.
